Tomorrow is the MyBroadband Conference - whoohoo. Yes, I suppose only a geek would truly get excited about something like this, but I think it is going to be very interesting.
Firstly it's not the same old people saying the same old things. Secondly the panel discussions are going to be awesome - already there has been an influx of questions submitted via the forum and I believe a number of the broadband players are going to be put on the spot.
But what would I like to know?
I'd like to know when are we going to see resolution on some of the outstanding issues such as (yes, again!) interconnection rates, Geographic Number Portability, spectrum allocation and the many other issues that rear their heads and then suddenly disappear.
Incidentally - no-one (except Vodacom and MTN of course) accepted the proposed interconnection rate. Which means we're at the mercy of the regulatory process that ICASA is now following. Could be a long wait....
Am very interested to see what tomorrow brings....
